LG Display becomes a order from the ministry of knowledge economy to develop a 60 inch flexible OLED Display.
The goal is that this kind of technology is read in the year 2017.

The company will lead a consortium, which includes Avaco, an equipment maker for display production, for the development of the flexible OLED.

LG Display want to develop this technology in Korea but also in China the company said.

Korea’s leading shipbuilders such as Hyundai Heavy Industries and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, and construction companies including GS Engineering & Construction will be working on the research and development of offshore plant technology.
