PIMACS(CEO Kim Hae-Dong), has attended `The 15th International LED & OLED EXPO 2017` which is being held from June 27th(Tue) to 29th(Thu) at hall 3 and 4 of exhibition hall 1, Ilsan KINTEX and introduced various light measurement instruments including Center Mirror Type Goniophotometer(NeoLight 9700C) which was developed for the first time in Korea.
The `NeoLight 9000 series(Mirror Type Goniophotometer)` that was firstly developed in Korea focusing on self-technology of PIMACS, measures the light distribution of various LED lighting fixtures. It was supplied to the Japan`s leading TRI-OSAKA laboratory, LED center of Pukyong National University in Korea, DaeHan Lighting, DaeYang Electric, and lighting companies. Recently, it has developed `NeoLight 9700C(Center Mirror Type Goniophotometer)`, which has improved the advantage of equipment, and delivered to the Korea Consumer Agency.
The `NeoLight PL5000(Total Luminous Flux Measuring Integrating Sphere)` which can measure the color coordinates, color temperature and the color rendering index as well as velocity of light of a light source is a lighting measuring general equipment independently developed by PIMACS. As an already well-known equipment for domestic lighting companies, it is also an excellent equipment that has built its own unique business base. Exported to Kyority in Japan and ESE in Thailand, this equipment currently is attracting interest in overseas countries such as Russia and Middle East, gives interest of purchase, and also the export negotiation is being conducted. Due to entry of cheap Chinese lighting, the number of lighting companies that tries to expand their own production lines are increasing as domestic LED lighting production price became meaningless.
Meanwhile, International LED & OLED EXPO 2017 is the largest LED & OLED specialized trade show in Korea with over 350 domestic and foreign companies participating. Also, during the exhibition, `Laser EXPO 2017` and `LED Industry forum 2017`, which invited the leading authorities of LED industries to explore the current status and development direction of LED industry, were held simultaneously.
