Sony plans to develop a flexible 9.9 inch full color AMOLED Display. The japanese company showcase a video about the largest full color flexible AMOLED at the SID-2012 in Boston.
Sony use an amorphous IGZO TFT the OLED panel is realized via white OLED and red, green, blue and white (RGBW) via color filters like LGs OLED-Tv technology.
Sony says that the pixel count, pixel pitch and resolution of the panel are 960 x 540, 228μm and 111ppi, respectively. Its thickness is 110μm.
Sony showcased the flexible OLED panel only on a video because the time was to short to bring this amazing device to the SID-2012 says Sony.
