LG-Displays 55-inch OLED-Tv 55EM9700-UA was tested from the FCC. LGs Ultimate Display was introduced at the CES-2012 event in Las Vegas. LG’s TV picture apart from other OLED TVs is 4-Color Pixels and Color Refiner which work together to generate natural and accurate colors that are sharp and consistent. The 4-Color Pixels feature allows for more accurate color depiction by using a set of four colors (red, green blue and white) in comparison to the RGB setup used by other OLED TV manufacturers. Color Refiner ensures consistency in colors from a wider viewing angle via an LG algorithm which improves and refines hues and tones.
At the FCC we see that this device was build in December 2012 and we see also that the OLED-Tv is so slim that there is no place for inputs. In the FCC report we found also WiFi and Blutooth modules, the 55EM9700 will cost 8.000-10.000 dollars and will be introduced in 2013.
