After Samsung Electronics’ OLED TV earned the UL certification a few days ago, the Samsung Curved OLED TV has also been adorned with the UL certification.
Samsung Electronics said Thursday that the Samsung curved OLED’s picture quality was certified by the US-based Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
The Samsung Curved OLED TV is regarded as the next-generation model that renders the world’s most advanced TV technologies and the best picture quality on a curved display.
In consideration of the characteristics of a curved panel, the UL has applied different evaluation criteria to the Samsung Curved OLED TV in terms of color, brightness and brightness uniformity. The “Emotional Image Quality” standard was also applied.
“The winning of the UL certification proves that the Samsung Curved OLED TV is packed with the best picture quality and top-notch TV technologies.” said Lee Hyo-gun, an executive at Samsung’s Visual Display Division.
