BÄRO Korea (CEO Yang Jae-seok, www.baerolights.co.kr) displayed BÄRO Germany's Special Food Lighting at the 13th International LED & OLED EXPO (LED EXPO 2015 for short), which ran for four days from Tuesday the 23rd to Friday the 26th at KINTEX in Ilsan.
Food lighting is used to make products look more attractive at places like department stores, supermarkets, and bakeries. It has to maintain the proper brightness and wavelengths, so the customers can examine the products easily.
For example, when products that have many colors -- such as bakery goods, fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood -- are illuminated, it is very important to create an environment that makes them look fresh.
The displayed BÄRO's Food Lighting uses an LED-Food module, which makes the products' natural colors look luxurious and fresh. Moreover, it possesses long wavelengths from the light source.
The product prevents moisture evaporation because its heat is not transferred to the goods. And unlike regular lamps, it does not emit UV rays.
The food lighting product family includes halogen lights for fresh goods, which encompasses breads, confectioneries, ice creams, refrigerated cakes, vegetables, fruits, flowers, fish, and meats.
The fluorescent lights are for display cabinets, refrigerators, freezers, and showcases. Depending on the goods' characteristics, different colors are utilized.
In proving its reliability, BÄRO's lighting has acquired GS (tested safety) mark from Europe TUV (German Technical Inspection Association), VDE mark (VDE Testing and Certification Institute), and CE mark (Conformity European).
With 40 years of accumulated know-how on food lighting design, the company stands out in the special lighting field.
The 13th International LED & OLED EXPO is the largest exhibition that integrates lighting, equipment, components, and materials of LED and OLED. Two hundred forty companies from 13 different countries are running 550 booths.
Furthermore, it is expected to provide an opportunity for company officials and buyers to communicate with each other, and encourage the development of the domestic LED industry. A variety of events are on tap, including the 5th LED Industrial Forum, Export Counseling for invited foreign buyers, and High Technology Development Companies Government Award Ceremony.
