"Optical Convergence EXPO" which is integrated by International LED & OLED EXPO 2017 Exhibition, the Korea`s largest scale LED specialized trade exhibition and International Photonics Exhibition, that has been held in October is held today (27th) at Ilsan KINTEX.
This exhibition was held with a total scale of more than 600 booths and it exhibited products that has been convergence with optical industry such as LED, OLED, optical communication, laser, and optics.
This year, it is participated by Dongbu Lightec Co., Ltd., YUYANG DNU Co., Ltd., CLARUS KOREA Co., Ltd., RFsemi, KOREA SEMICONDUCTOR ILLUMINATION, SAMJIN LND, TECNEN, JAEJIN POWER LED, MOSO KOREA, OSRAM, MEAN WELL, and Japan, Germany, China and Taiwan of which, an opportunity will be provided to identify the domestic and foreign market trend at one glance as well as there will be the exhibits of the new products that are being issued recently.
In particular, the overseas business plaza that will be held during the exhibition period by Korea Association For Photonics Industry Development and KOTRA will arrange consultation matching for buyers more than 200 people from 25 countries of whom possesses real purchasing power that are from United States, Europe, Asia, Middle East and others with domestic companies. It plans to concentrate its abilities so that purchasing consultation with domestic companies can be linked to real purchase contract.
In addition, in order to encourage the development motivations for new technologies in the optics, LED, OLED, LASER Industries, and to promote morale, the award ceremony of outstanding development companies and the reward for patriot man will be held on June 27th(Tue) at the opening ceremony. Also, Presidential Award, Prime Minister`s Award, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy Minister`s Award, Bucheon Mayor`s Award, KOTRA President`s Award and Patriots Awards has been awarded.
The new technology market trend of next generation optical convergence technology, which is the key infrastructure technology in the 4th industrial revolution of new industry development field such as, in the LED industrial forum, LED lighting certification, market trend, LED industry competitiveness enhancement plan according to the 4th industrial revolution, LED ICBM artificial intelligent lighting announcement and optical convergence industry, for the development forum, ICT, IoT, transportation equipment, energy, and medical technology. It`s doing its best to make to forum a place for exchange seeking for the future technologies prospective in optical industries. Various events were also held such as public institutions and local government LED lighting promotion spread promotion plan presentation and Friday Salon with the theme of Global IoT/AoT based Smart LED Lighting Platform.
Moreover, a research and development achievement exhibition hall will be established within the exhibition hall to show the research and development achievements of each organization and participating companies. Participating businesses include three projects: 『LED convergence industry hub construction project』, 『LED system lighting technology development project』, and 『OLED Joint Booth』.
