KITECH (CEO Lee Sung-Il), has attended "The 15^th International LED & OLED EXPO 2017" which is being held from June 27^th(Tue) to 29^th(Thu) at hall 3 and 4 of exhibition hall 1, Ilsan KINTEX and exhibited light source for transparent OLED light.

This researcher has selected root industry technology, clean production system technology, convergence industrial technology for technology competitiveness of small and medium sized companies and to preoccupy the future market, as 3 major research fields, and the national industrial development is being promoted through technology development of core source and practical technology support.Currently, its focused on the 3 major institute by research field system (Incheon, Cheonan, Ansan) the regional headquarters has been installed at Gwangju (Southwest Regional Headquarters), Daegu (Daekyung Regional Headquarters), Busan (Southeast Regional Headquarters), Gangneung (Gangwon Regional Headquarters), Ulsan (Ulsan Regional Headquarters), and Jeju (Jeju Regional Headquarters), and is closely supporting the small and middle sized companies.

In particular, the Southwest Regional Headquarters (Gwangju), based on the results of research in the fields of `OLED and optical convergence device`, has secured transparent OLED surface light source manufacturing technology, high-efficiency and low-cost OLED manufacturing process technology, precision fine pattern in optical convergence field, and photoluminescence device process technology using electrode technology.

The low-cost, high-efficiency, long-life transparent OLED with transparent OLED panel technology has an efficiency of 100lm / W and a lifespan of more than 15,000 hours. In addition, smart window technology has succeeded in patent application and commercialization of smart window related to granting luminescence function.

Meanwhile, International LED & OLED EXPO 2017 is the largest LED & OLED specialized trade show in Korea with over 350 domestic and foreign companies participating. Also, during the exhibition, `Laser EXPO 2017` and `LED Industry forum 2017`, which invited the leading authorities of LED industries to explore the current status and development direction of LED industry, were held simultaneously.
