Dr. Michael Lebby, Executive Director of the OIDA, will be a featured speaker at the 2006 FPD Seminar Program

Flat Panel Display EXPO is pleased to announce that Dr. Michael Lebby, Executive Director of the Optoelectronics Industry Development Association, will be a featured speaker at the 2006 FPD Seminar Program. The organizations mission is to promote optoelectronics worldwide and advance the competitiveness of its members in the global marketplace. OIDA generates market reviews, technical workshops, technology roadmaps, presentations and policy updates. Dr. Lebby is known internationally for his contributions to the optics and photonics industry. He holds more than 175 U.S.-issued utility patents in optoelectronics and has been responsible for introducing significant products to the marketplace. He also brings a venture capital and financial perspective to the optoelectronics industry through his experience as a corporate investor and venture capitalist at Intel and his role as board advisor at a number of high technology optoelectronics start-ups both in Europe and North America.
